Senior Engineer - Operations Research

Key Responsibilities:

• Modeling & Optimization:
• Develop advanced operations research models including linear programming, mixed-integer programming, nonlinear optimization, dynamic programming, queuing theory, and game theory.
• Build simulation models to evaluate potential solutions and improve resource allocation, scheduling, and supply chain logistics.
• Design algorithms to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
• Data Analysis & Machine Learning:
• Analyze large datasets and develop predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Apply OR and ML techniques to provide actionable insights and improve decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work with engineering, product, and operations teams to implement models into SaaS platforms.
• Translate business requirements into mathematical and algorithmic solutions.
• Communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders using reports, presentations, and visualizations.
• Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and refine models based on feedback and new data.
• Stay updated on advancements in operations research, optimization, and machine learning, applying best practices for innovative solutions.
• Document models, algorithms, and processes for team knowledge sharing.
