About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial mechanical Engineer to lead a small, fast-moving team building the next generation of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), humanoid robots, and intelligent automation systems.
You will be the technical spine of the team — conceiving solutions, driving development at pace, and delivering real value to customers.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor a small cross-disciplinary team, keeping everyone aligned and moving fast toward delivery milestones.
- Design, prototype, development of autonomous mobile robots and humanoid robot systems from concept to production.
- Set technical standards, code quality practices, and development workflows that scale with the team.
- Support pre-sales and proposal activity by translating technical capabilities into compelling customer solutions.
- Stay current with emerging robotics platforms, industry trends to continuously improve team output.
- Good at FEA, FMEA, DFM activities towards complete NPD process
- Adhere to MRD, PRD and create new concepts related to AMR automation solutions
- Work with Cross functional teams to develop final products
- Complete Engineering documentations and hand over to R&D or productions
- Strong knowledge on GD&T, tolerance stacks, drawings
Preferred Skills
The ideal candidate has broad, applied knowledge:
Mechanical
CAD (SolidWorks / On shape/ or any other 3D cad) · Concept design, detailed design,
Structural thinking · Actuator selection, DFMA, FMEA, Manufacturing knowledge, etc
Controls & Electronics (Not mandatory- if present it is a plus)
Basic Understanding of PLC/embedded systems · PID & advanced control · Motor drives · PCB design basics · Fieldbus protocols (CAN, EtherCAT, Modbus)

Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in robotics or autonomous mobile robots development.
- Degree in mechanical, or equivalent demonstrated experience).
- Proven track record of shipping physical automated systems into production or real operating environments.
- Experience leading or coordinating technical work in a startup-like or fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working directly with customers— listening, scoping, and translating requirements into buildable concepts.
