Project Management:
Role Description
The ideal candidate should be well versed in systems like PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Timeline management etc. to oversee a project management team, as well as lead development of new projects with international/Global OEMs and Tier 1 customers. Should be comfortable in English, and having technical background (Engineering) to lead project discussions with customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead Project discussions with customers.
- Conduct Technical presentation about the feasibility of product & RFQ.
- Conduct the New tool trail and communicate with design engineer for analysis result tool & product.
- Preparing documents such as CP, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, MSA, PSW & submission to customers as per Requirements.
- Overview of project management team, for daily monitoring, and review with higher CFT
- On time launch of new projects.
- Coordination with customers and internal CFT for successful PPAP/PSW completion
- Ensure that all projects are completed within budget and time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- 5 years + experience in project management
- Well versed in tools like PPAP/PSW, eAPQP, Control Plan, FMEA, etc.
- Experience of IATF 16949 (VDA6.3 preferred)
- Experience of working in the automotive industry (OEM / Tier-1 / Tier-2)
- Good organizational and communication skills
