Senior Engineer

About the Role

Sri Satya Constructions is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – Civil to manage and supervise structural and civil execution activities for a high-rise residential building project. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in high-rise construction, Mivan/aluminium formwork, structural works, and site execution, with experience working on projects of G+15 floors or above.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day civil and structural execution activities at the project site.
• Supervise construction activities for RCC structural works, including columns, shear walls, beams, slabs and other structural elements.
• Plan and monitor Mivan/aluminium formwork activities, including erection, alignment, level checking, de-shuttering and cycle management.
• Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, QS, Survey, Safety and MEP teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor Mivan cycle and floor-wise construction progress and ensure activities are completed within planned timelines.
• Check reinforcement, shuttering, embedded items, openings and pre-pour requirements before concrete.
• Coordinate concrete pouring activities, including manpower, materials, equipment and site readiness.
• Ensure proper line, level, alignment and dimensions of structural elements.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with consultants/design teams for timely resolution.
• Monitor subcontractor and workforce productivity and ensure proper deployment of manpower.
• Maintain daily progress reports and communicate site progress, constraints and requirements to project management.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and construction procedures at site.
• Assist in planning and execution of floor-to-floor construction cycles for high-rise structures.

Mandatory Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 7–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
• Must have worked on at least one G+15 or above high-rise building project.
• Must have completed at least one high-rise building project from execution stage through completion.
• Hands-on experience in Mivan / Aluminium Formwork is mandatory.
• Strong practical knowledge of RCC structural works is mandatory.
• Must have hands-on experience in reinforcement, shuttering/formwork and concrete works.
• Experience in high-rise residential building construction will be preferred.
• Good understanding of structural drawings, bar bending schedules and construction drawings.
• Ability to independently manage site execution activities and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality and safety practices.
