Senior Engineer - Mechanical

Role: Reliance Carbon Fiber - Maintenance - Sr. Engineer Mechanical

Education: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 7 to 13 years

Job Description:

1. Daily / weekly resource planning (Manpower, spare parts, maintenance services), monitoring & reporting.

2. Daily review of Mechanical maintenance effectiveness & efficiency.

3. Lead shut down , Preventive & Predictive Mechanical maintenance planning.

4. Participate & Promote GAMBA walk.

5. Participate in Task force / Problem solving / Execution of work packages.

7. Monitor MTBF/ MTTR of all critical equipments & define improvement actions.

8. Identify & eliminate recurring Mechanical maintenance issues.

9. Shared responsibility for OEE & OTIF with production & technology head.

10. Ensure all Mechanical maintenance activities are well documented through maintenance management system (PM module), and equipment manual (History) / hand books are up to date.

11. Ensure proper hand over of the equipment / machines after maintenance is over including cleaning / insulation / claddings etc.

12. Drive improvement work package to enhance Safety, efficiency, reliability and consistency of plant Mechanical equipment .

13. Stimulate & support process simplification & initiatives to enhance predictive maintenance.

14. Ensure adherence to management of change process.

15. Deploy along with team world class asset management practices.

16. Keep abreast with latest maintenance practices along with innovations & modernizations.

Preferred Experience:

1. Professional having Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university with proven academic records.

3. 8 to 12 years of working experience in leading Mechanical maintenance team in a manmade fiber manufacturing / similar operations.

4. Managing Acrylic Fiber Manufacturing process.

5. Exposures in high temperature equipment & heavy rotary equipment's.

6. Exposures in handling a large group of manpower in a cross cultural ambience.

7. Experience of leading an Mechanical maintenance team with continuous processes and 24/7 shift rotation
