Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Engineer - Marketing to drive business growth in targeted industry verticals. The role involves establishing and expanding sales operations, developing vendors, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the sales team in closing key deals.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Handle, develop, and establish sales operations in assigned industry verticals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads in target markets.
  • Lead vendor development activities to support project and product requirements.
  • Manage vendor registrations with new customers, companies, EPCs, and consultants.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements (commercial and technical) with customers and vendors.
  • Assist the sales team in finalizing and closing sales deals.
  • Maintain and develop strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, address queries, and support customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collect and maintain data on competitors products, pricing, and positioning.
  • Provide feedback to design and engineering teams on new product development.
  • Suggest improvements and enhancements in existing products and supplied equipment based on market and customer feedback.

Requirements :
  • 5 - 12 years of experience in technical marketing / sales / business development, preferably in industrial, engineering, or project-based sectors.
  • B.Tech / B.E in Engineering ( Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / similar), from a recognized institution.
  • B2B experience dealing with EPCs, consultants, OEMs, and large industrial customers is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in vendor development, vendor registration processes, and key account management.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and support closure of medium to large value deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage multiple customers and opportunities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, interpret, and act on market and competitor data.
