Bachelor/Masters of Engineering/Science in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering with hands on experience in aerodynamics, aircraft design, CFD analysis.
Job Roles
- Design and evaluation of concept and preliminary aircraft design through CFD simulations
- Aerodynamic optimization through simulations and correlating with test/flight data
- Detailed 3D CFD simulations including geometry cleanup, meshing, simulations setup, post processing of simulations results to generate various aerodynamic polars and coefficient data. Prior relevant hands on work experience would be preferrable
Skills Required
- Hands on experience with various CFD simulations, meshing and post processing software packages such as ICEM CFD, Ansys meshing, Fluent meshing, Hypermesh, XFLR 5, Ansys Fluent, OpenFOAM, Paraview, MATLAB, MS Excel
