Senior Engineer IP & Data Networks CCNA

Job description

• Should be ready to visit sites (INTNL Travel) as well to resolve issues if need be.
• Should coordinate with Internal and testing teams for the issues resolution and determine the Root cause.
• Proactive Performance monitoring of entire customer Network.

Mandatory skills:

• Have a strong understanding of routing protocols, LAN protocols, and WAN protocols.
• Technical expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS (LDP, RSVP- TE).
• Configure and troubleshooting experience on multi-area OSPF networks.
• Troubleshoot classic EIGRP and named EIGRP for IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
• Configure (OSPF)v2 and OSPFv3 in IPv4 and IPv6 environments.
• Fair knowledge in the major architectural components of an MPLS VPN.
• Must have knowledge in the routing and packet forwarding functionalities for MPLS VPNs.
• Strong knowledge in implementing Routing Protocol Redistribution, manipulate redistribution, using Route Maps, troubleshooting redistribution issues.
• Should be certified engineer in data networks (CCNA and above).

Desired skills:

Fair knowledge to identify and rectify multi-protocol systems such as EIGRP, NAT, and OSPF.

Fair knowledge in the major architectural components of an MPLS VPN.

Should be able to debug the network issues, train guide network engineers.

Relevant certifications such as CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or JNCIP (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience:3-6 years experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
• Education:Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree.
• Candidate should be certified with CCNA, CCNP or any other equivalent certifications.
