Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sourcing requirements and create accurate Purchase Orders
- Obtain timely PO acknowledgements from suppliers and ensure delivery schedules are captured and tracked in the system.
- Partner closely with suppliers to proactively identify and prevent potential risks impacting ontime delivery.
- Actively manage exceptions by expediting orders and mitigating delays to minimize supply disruptions.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure timely material receipts and inventory availability. And service entries from respective departments.
- Work with Finance to ensure ontime vendor payments, strengthening supplier relationships and continuity of supply.
- Analyze supplier performance issues and establish robust mitigation and preventive action plans for future demand fulfilment.
Scope of work:
Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) for indirect purchasing, covering the following categories of goods and services:
- Marketing & Corporate Services – Advertising, events, branding, print, and communications
- IT & Digital Services – Hardware, software, licenses, cloud services, IT infrastructure, support services, and maintenance
- Utilities & Subscriptions – Power, water, telecom, internet, and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs)
- Facilities & Infrastructure – Building maintenance, utilities, housekeeping, security, and repairs
- Professional & Consulting Services – Legal, audit, tax, consulting, and recruitment agencies
- Logistics & Support Services – Transportation, freight forwarding, and customs clearing (non-production)
- HR & Administration – Training, travel, lodging, cafeteria, employee benefits, and temporary staffing
- Operations – PPE, consumables, and office supplies
Qualifications
B.E./ B.Tech / MBA
Desired Experience Level
3 to 6 years of experience in Indirect deep familiarity with Admin & people services, engineering services and local regulations
