Job Description

Job Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform thermal analysis for various types of heat exchangers (Shell & Tube, Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers, etc.).
  • Conduct process and thermal performance evaluations to ensure compliance with plant opex.
  • Prepare and review heat exchanger performance evaluation, provide cleaning recommendations with justification and benefits evaluations
  • Utilize HTRI software for heat exchanger simulation and optimization.
  • Support troubleshooting and performance improvement activities for existing heat exchanger systems.
  • Understand technical summaries, data sheets, and engineering documentation as per workflow requirements.
  • Participate in review meetings and provide support to clients

Work Experience

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of heat transfer, fluid flow, and process engineering fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with HTRI software is mandatory.
  • Experience in shell-and-tube heat exchanger performance calculations.
  • Ability to interpret process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, process datasheets and equipment design documents.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong data discipline.
  • Team-oriented with good coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision while delivering high-quality output.
  • Knowledge of TEMA, ASME, and relevant industry standards will be an added advantage.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in Operations & Technical services
  • Petroleum Refinery/ Petrochemicals background is preferred
