About this opportunity:
Looking an experienced Senior Core Network Engineer IMS / 5G Core Specialist with deep expertise in Ericsson IMS platforms (SBG, CSCF, MTAS, BGF) and 5G Core technologies (PCC and PCG). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network planning, design, deployment, and KPI-driven optimization within multi-vendor telecom environments.
What you will do:
- Accountable for day-to-day delivery of the assigned project towards customer.
- Handle & Lead IMS & fixed voice Performance Management and Design Planning scope for large CSPs.
- Optimizing IMS network as per customer requirement & Perform parameters tuning etc.
- Perform QoS , parameter , capacity audit as per customer requirement.
- KPI analysis and recommendation to improve customer satisfaction.
- Impact analysis for upgrade and NW changes.
- Troubleshooting, Analysis, Impact Report and Tracing (PCAP, Wireshark).
- Support with technical discussions in RFP discussion.
- Good communication required for global customers.
- Leading IMS & Cloud Core scope in service deliver / governance calls.
- End to End knowledge of IMS / Cloud Core network.
- Comprehensive IMS / VLTE / Cloud Core life-cycle maintenance (e.g., planning, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, Tracing & reporting).
The skills you bring:
Must have customer handling skills and excellent communication skills.
Candidate should have at least 3-4 years of Deployment / Design/Planning /Optimization experience of IMS Core Nodes (SBG, CSCF, TAS etc) and MME, AMF, PCC, SGW, PGW, SMF, UPF, PCG, DNS,SMSC,MIO, and NFVi .
Candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills on IMS / Cloud Core network.
Experience in 5GC, cloud is added advantage
Strong IMS & Voice network experience. With hands-on skills in tracing.
Strong skills on Architecture and Interfaces for Ericsson Core network elements IMS, Fixed Voice, MSC, MGW, BC, HSS, CUDB, STP, DSC, MME, AMF, PCC, SGW, PGW, SMF, UPF, PCG, DNS,SMSC,MIO, and NFVi . etc.
Expertise on operator network (IMS, Fixed Voice, CS, CUDB) and understanding.
Strong Technical Knowledge on IMS Core Network and idea of E2E network.
Detailed knowledge of Ericsson's existing and future product/services portfolio, roadmap information and system integration practices is advantageous.
Need to know the automation concepts. Experience in python / scripting is beneficial.
