Senior Engineer

Job Position: MEP QA/QC engineer

Experience: 8 -10years

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior MEP QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and control for construction and renovation projects. The candidate will ensure that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works are executed in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for MEP works.

2. Conduct site inspections for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

3. Ensure that the work is executed by the contractor as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

4. Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.

5. Monitor installation works and ensure adherence to quality procedures.

6. Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with corrective actions.

7. Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams for inspections and approvals.

8. Maintain all QA/QC documentation, including test reports, checklists, and records.

9. Ensure quality control in renovation works with minimal disruption to operations.

10. Conduct quality audits regularly and ensure that contractors submit compliance reports within the specified time frame, with continuous improvement in their execution.
