Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Experience: 7–10 Years
Industry: Food/FMCG/Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and review electrical systems including HV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCC, UPS, generators, ELV, CCTV, access control, instrumentation & automation systems.
- Prepare technical documents like SLD, layouts, BOQ, datasheets, schematics, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with IEC/NEC/IEEE/NFPA and other global standards.
- Work on AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, DIALUX, Navisworks.
- Support vendor evaluation, procurement, global project coordination, and supplier development.
- Drive value engineering, cost optimization, sustainability, and energy-efficient design.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Electrical, ELV, Instrumentation & Control systems.
- Experience in large CAPEX greenfield/brownfield projects.
- Knowledge of DCS/PLC platforms (Siemens/Allen Bradley preferred).
- Good project management, stakeholder coordination, and analytical skills.
Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- 7–10 years relevant experience in Global Engineering/Plant Expansion Projects.
- USA/Europe code knowledge preferred.
