Senior Engineer - Electronics - Design & Engineering (Hardware)

Role & responsibilities:

1. Hardware Design: Design and develop electronics hardware, including PCBs, electronic components, and systems, for defense products.

2. Schematic Capture: Create and review schematic diagrams for electronics hardware.

3. PCB Design: Design and develop PCBs, including component selection, placement, and routing.

4. Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate electronics hardware, identifying and resolving issues as needed.

5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to electronics hardware, implementing corrective actions as needed.

6. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and systems engineering, to ensure seamless integration of electronics hardware.

Preferred candidate profile:

1. Experience with specific industries: Experience working on defense products, including radar, communication systems, or electronic warfare systems.

2. Experience with specific design tools: Experience with design tools, such as thermal analysis, mechanical simulation, or other relevant tools.

3. Certifications: Certification in Electronics Engineering, PCB Design, or a related field.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in electronics hardware design and development, with experience working on defense products.

Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of electronics hardware design principles.
2. Experience with CAD tools, such as Altium, Cadence, or other relevant tools.
3. Familiarity with electronics components, including analog and digital circuits.
4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
