Desired Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is preferrable.
- Relevant work experience of 5 to 10 years in Graphic Art Industry especially in servicing of Printing equipment will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with a very good knowledge of handling electrical requirements of offset/sheetfed/large format printing machineries are preferred.
- Good business communication in English and Kannada is mandatory.
- Job location will be Bengaluru. Candidates based out of Bengaluru is preferred.
- Willing to travel extensively.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong ability to comprehend project requirements and offer technical solutions in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Analyze the features and specifications of electrical machinery and systems and install necessary applications to optimize their performance.
- Understand customers job requirements and efficiently configure application settings to meet their specific needs.
- Analyze the nature of service assignments and strive to close service calls with the least possible downtime, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Adhere to job scheduling and planning, ensuring projects are completed within specified timelines.
- Organize and utilize tools and gauges effectively to ensure the successful execution of projects while complying with corporate guidelines.
- Support and execute regular Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities as per the defined schedules.
- Continuously learn and adapt to different types of service assignments, ensuring efficient problem-solving and technical proficiency.
- Maintain proper usage of documentation throughout the service process, including preparing detailed service reports.
- Provide accurate recommendations for spare parts, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Learn and follow recommended testing procedures to validate the quality and reliability of electrical systems.
- Submit comprehensive documentation of work performed, ensuring all project details are recorded accurately.
- Escalate service issues in a timely manner, regularly follow up with all relevant parties, and work towards logical conclusions for service-related challenges.
- Promote service contracts to customers, monitor machines under warranty, and proactively offer renewals for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing within the Service department to enhance collective expertise.
- Understand and apply cost control concepts within the scope of your activities, while taking ownership of company assets under your care.
- Gather valuable market information to contribute to decision-making and the improvement of services and products.
- Deliver high level of technical service and support during installations and servicing of equipment.
- Actively coordinate and support Sales operations Team with respect to customer complaints and sales opportunities including parts sales for the region.
- Develop customer support standards by ensuring first time fix of service issues, improved customer response time and efficiently manage overall service operational cost of the region.
