Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Analyze schematics and electrical/electronic components within the automotive domain.
- Create wiring diagrams using tools such as E3 Cable or AutoCAD.
- Develop wiring schematics related to the functionality of electrical/electronic systems.
- Analyze automotive electrical/electronic systems and interpret DIN standards.
- Prepare wiring lists, schematic diagrams, and block diagrams for electrical systems.
- Work with high-voltage components and circuits.
- Utilize 3DMaster and perform 3D harness development.
- Apply knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
Software & Tools Knowledge
- Electrical Design Tools: AutoCAD, E3 Cable
- 3D & CAD Tools: 3DMaster, [Specify CAD tool if known]
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) tools
- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical/electronic design
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting schematics and system-level electrical documentation
- Expertise in high-voltage systems, automotive communication protocols, and DIN standards
- Proficiency in electrical design software, PLM/PDM tools, and Microsoft Office
- German language skills are a plus
