Senior Engineer- Dynamic Simulation

Utthunga is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Dynamic Simulation to lead and manage our process dynamic simulation projects. If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field, possess strong chemical engineering fundamentals, and are well-versed in the entire OTS (Operator Training Simulator) project lifecycle, you will be completely responsible for delivering successful and high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for leading a full project lifecycle on process dynamic simulations in line with established standards/guidelines and project requirements.
• He/She will be completely responsible for successful project deliveries, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion.

Technical and Industry Experience

• Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of process dynamic simulations.
• Possess strong chemical engineering fundamentals knowledge.
• Have a good understanding of various chemical and refinery processes.
• Should be well-versed with all phases of an OTS project lifecycle, including:
• Kick-off meeting and scope freezing.
• P&ID markup and data collection.
• Model configuration, bench modeling, and tuning to match Heat and Material Balance (HMB).
• Model integration.
• Material Acceptance Test (MAT).
• Model integration with SCADA.
• Third-party logic configuration and integration.
• Development of startup, shutdown, and malfunction scenarios.
• Instructor variables.
• Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
• Demonstrate effective technical and practical engineering skills and the ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work.
• Possess good problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and team-playing skills.

Skills & Requirements

• Candidate should have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed college/University.
• Candidates must have strong Chemical Engineering fundamentals.
• Should be proficient in the implementation of Dynamic simulations (using commercial OTS software, preferably UniSim, Aspen Hysys). This includes sound process model development skills.
