Role Summary

Job Description

The job incumbent will be individual contributor and performs engineering activities in product engineering and ensures that the designed & developed products meet the M+H standards and the customer specifications.

Main Tasks

  • Drive the Design & development of the M+H products, design concepts, developing 2D &3D, Design review and approval.
  • Drive the functional reviews´, identifying Business critical topics and setting Key priorities with governance.
  • Manage the process of the Functional Product release of the products within the area of responsibility including all technical documentation (CAD-data, drawings, technical descriptions and presentations, technical specifications, FMEA, design verification plans, product validation plans, test reports, FFAP, etc.) in cooperation with cross functional teams and Stake Holders.
  • Driving Capturing Customer Specific requirements (CSR), Design Specific Requirements (DSR)
  • Ensure and maintain the technical documentation of the projects in PLM / CIM Database as per Engg Workflow requirements.
  • Drive NPI's as per engineering workflows, manage and drive all supporting process.
  • Drive Cost hunting and Cost improvement ideas up to realization in time and saving.
  • Ensure compliance with the technical standards, processes and norms of M+H Group during the project and Communicate with the customers, suppliers and the relevant departments regarding all technical issues
  • Demonstrate and maintain strong governance on Dept KPIs , project reviews status, budget vs actuals through Dashboards or supporting data management tool
  • Define and manage the necessary internal and external resources for the projects within the product group to ensure efficiency during all project stages
  • Responsible for timely communication on all technical open points for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Share Best Practices and knowledge within the team
