Job Description
Integrate designs across key railway disciplines such as Signaling, Electrification, and Permanent Way.
Support design development from preliminary stage to construction stage, ensuring all standard norms and codes.
Prepare concept and outline designs for maintenance, renewal and enhancement projects.
Coordinate with clients to understand technical requirements and develop optimal solutions.
Address design comments from Railways/Clients and ensure accurate documentation.
Coordinate with internal design teams and regional offices for timely finalisation of deliverables.
Assist in preparation of tender documents, BOQs, and technical submissions.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality, contractual, and safety requirements.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of railway engineering standards and design practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant rail design/analysis software.
Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and preparation of design deliverables.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, and client-handling abilities.
Ability to guide junior engineers and work independently on complex tasks.
