Your day-to-day
- Design, develop, and deploy a highly scalable and efficient ML platform software that enables data scientists to build, deploy, and monitor machine learning solutions end-to-end
- Ensure high code quality, performance, and reliability through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to software development best practices.
- Effective communication, listening, interpersonal, influencing, and alignment driving skills; Convey complex messages crisply according to the audience.
- Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Monitor and maintain critical applications, services, and products; Debug production issues across services adhering to the issue severity.
What do you need to bring-
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Computer science, or related disciplines
- Strong backend development skills including 6-9 years of experience developing scalable, performant backend software components.
- Proficient in Java EE technologies (Java language, Spring, Spring Boot, JAX-RS, Hibernate or equivalent)
- Solid track record of delivering quality solutions that can scale and perform to the organization SLO
- Strong verbal and written communication, listening, interpersonal, and influencing skills;
- Strong debugging skills with knowledge of state-of-the-art monitoring/instrumentation systems like OpenTelemetry, DataDog, and APM systems
- A strong understanding of ML concepts, ML Ops tools, and techniques is a plus
- Experience as a technical lead, including defining the roadmap for complex projects spanning multiple teams and functions
- Strong cross-collaboration skills with ability to influence stakeholder teams and lead design and discovery discussions.
