Job Duties And Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated automation senior tester to join our dynamic team as an individual contributor. The job duties include designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring software quality through various testing methods. They also focus on improving testing efficiency and reliability.
- Test Automation: Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional and regression testing.
- Test Planning & Execution: Design test plans, identify test cases for automation, and execute automated tests.
- Defect Management:Identify, report, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
- Framework Maintenance: Enhance and maintain existing test automation frameworks using Selenium, Mockito, Cucumber tools etc ensuring their efficiency and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
- Performance Testing:Conduct performance tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure application performance.
Skills, Experience And Requirements
- Engineering degree with 4+ years of experience in Software Testing in agile environment.
- The candidate needs to be strong in SQL, Unix, XML, Scripting language.
- Strong in selenium and developing API automation using rest assured ,Ready API ,Http client
- Working experience in HP ALM, Agile Central, JIRA.
- Author and maintain an agile test strategy to include approaches for unit, system, integration and other forms of testing.
- Provide guidance to junior members.
- Exposure to AI tools will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
