Job Description
- Automation design for study and tendering phases for HVDC & HVAC offshore wind projects
- Verification of design from previous study phases
- Define, specify and design automation and SAS systems
- Development of philosophies, topologies, I/O budget and systems descriptions according to client specifications, Client requirements and local laws and regulations
- Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for automation discipline
- Interface to other disciplines, contractors and client
- Possibility to continue to later project phases, such as FEED and EPC
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 10 years experience from automation engineering in greenfield Oil&Gas projects located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
- Minimum 6 years Experience from automation and SAS/ICSS system design activities and reviews
- Experience from Offshore Wind projects located in Europe is preferred.
- Eperience from automation system design in FEED or study phase projects
- Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IEC,
- Willingness to learn
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for a multicultural working environment
- Valid EX-course
- Valid FSE-course
