Role Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings, and product sustaining activities. The candidate will support capacitor sustaining and MoL (Management of Lifecycle) projects by creating and updating CAD models, engineering documentation, and PLM/ERP systems.
CAD and PLM experience, preferred for Inventor and Enovia Project
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Prepare manufacturing and production drawings as per engineering standards.
- Update engineering data in SAP and Enovia.
- Support Capacitor Sustaining and MoL (Management of Lifecycle) projects.
- Implement engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) and maintain product documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design updates and product improvements.
- Ensure design compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience in 3D CAD Modeling and Engineering Drawing Preparation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Enovia.
- Knowledge of engineering documentation and product lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting sustaining engineering and engineering change management.
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, or Autodesk Inventor.
- Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
- Exposure to BOM management and PLM workflows.
Educational Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
