Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Resource to manage the company's supply of products and services. The responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers also to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Capex procurement & sourcing of materials, Utility equipments, for Renewable Energy Projects.
  • Managing vendors & perform strategic procurement activities for capex Utility packages.
  • Identify vendors for floating of RFQs as per BOQ & technical data sheet to domestic and international suppliers.
  • Review RFQ documents, Scope of Work (SOW), Division of Responsibility (DOR), Contract award strategy, Commercial bid analysis, Internal cost estimation (ICE) by detailed analysis of the resource requirement & productivity study.
  • Ensure Technical Bid Analysis (TBA) is completed as per project schedule.
  • Analyzing price trend & calculating procurement costs through TCO approach and developing cost reduction strategies through negotiation, benchmarking and alternate material option.
  • Negotiating contracts with key suppliers including costs and supply terms, service & quality.
  • Analyze supplier proposals and facilitate fact-based supplier selection process.
  • Obtaining management approval for order award with proper justification of selected vendor.
  • Monitor post award project contract management.
  • Analyzing risk through various matrix and ensure business continuity plan in place.
  • Ensure product quality compliance as per the regulatory standards and company SOP's-work with quality function and supply partner on-ground for up gradation activities.
  • Lead meetings with CFT to drive projects related to cost reduction, supplier assessment/development, product quality and supplier rating. Based on supplier rating identify root causes and work with internal & external stakeholders to drive efficient resolution.
  • Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress & performance.
  • Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate the exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements
  • To ensure safety, legal, quality & environmental compliance.
