Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager - Methods Engineering

As a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager - Methods Engineering , your mission is to Support and promote Atlas Copco's mission of being recognized as a Reference Product Company by establishing and continuously improving world-class manufacturing processes.

You will

• Key Responsibilities
• 
  . Develop, standardize, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for Industrial Air products.
  . Drive NPI/NPD projects and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
  . Lead product and process change management activities.
  . Maintain SAP/GEMS, MES, routings, master data, and manufacturing systems.
  . Drive Industry 4.0, automation and digitalization initiatives.
  . Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Waste Walk and Operational Excellence initiatives.
  . Conduct line balancing and productivity improvement studies.
  . Ensure compliance with IMS, EMS, EnMS and Health & Safety requirements.
  . Drive FTR, DOA and continuous improvement through problem-solving methodologies.
  . Coordinate tooling and fixture development with suppliers.
  . Collaborate across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Engineering teams.

Experience Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Methods Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in assembly operations of industrial products, Lean Manufacturing and process improvement.
• Knowledge of ERP and MES platforms.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Management or Engineering is an added advantage.
