Job title – Senior Engineer – Water Structures (MER)
Qualification & Experience;
- BE/M.E / M. Tech from a recognized University.
- 7+ years experience.
Principal Duties & Key Responsibilities;
- Preparation of Design Reports, Design calculations, loads and stresses related to different structures.
- Proficiency in analytical software tools
- Sound work experience in concrete and steel structures
- Sound knowledge of water and earth retaining structures
- Preparation of Excel spread sheet for design calculation.
- Working under supervision and guidance of Team Leader on various projects in line with client requirement.
- Provide design input to CAD/BIM and co-ordinate with CAD/BIM staff for preparation of drawings.
- Liaison with other team members to produce good design solution as per best design practice.
- Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
- Building a profile in the industry and keeping up-to-date with innovations and developments.
- Compliance of Arcadis business management system.
- Health & Safety Management.
- Awareness of Sustainability best practices
- Awareness of project commercial
- Awareness of Arcadis digital strategies and takes interest and initiatives aligning towards digitalization.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.
- Good communication skills.
- Required Competencies;
- Familiar with British, European, UBC and other International standards and practices related to Structural Engineering.
- Ability to lead small to medium sized projects
- Sound knowledge of various software used in Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Robot professional, Staad Pro, Etabs, Master Series, etc.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office.
- A strong, self-motivated and assertive person capable of working under pressure.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Flexible to adopt new work /challenge work as per business requirement.
