About the Role

The Resource - Vehicle assembly is responsible for achieving the production targets of vehicles (as per model mix) in adherence to quality, safety and cost standards. The incumbent will work to deliver production targets of the vehicle to the Outbound Logistics team as per PPC plan and implement a culture of self-directed operating teams in the assembly shop.

Location: Oragadam/Cheyyar

Experience : 4-10 Years

We are looking only Engineering Graduates

Responsibilities

  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis & identify the NVA's. Propose the solution to eliminate NVA & line balancing to improve efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials science and Layout optimization.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge in tools, fixtures & Poka yokes new concept implementation.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects from conception to completion.
  • Understanding of automated systems, robotics, and other advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • RFQ Preparation, Getting quotation, Ordering, DAP, Trial at supplier end & installation and commissioning of facilities at site.
  • Perform assembly process trial to ensure effectiveness and hand over to production.
  • Improve productivity by implementing low cost automation projects.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Closely work with a Cross-Functional team to optimize new & existing assembly issues.
  • Should have strong knowledge in MES System, IIOT4.O, Planning, and execution of Vehicle genealogy.
