The Team

Capability Hubs (CH) is a mature set of cross-functional capabilities that enable the go-to-market agenda, corporate functions and engagement support teams of KPMG firms.

Led by an experienced leadership team across six locations in India (Gurugram, Bengaluru, Kochi, Pune, Hyderabad and Noida) and supported by seasoned professionals with deep domain expertise, CH is dedicated to delivering value and achieving business outcomes.

Working closely with KPMG firms, which leverage our teams for enablement across functions such as Insights & Risk management, Sales Enablement, Digital Experience & Business Services, Technology Services and Transformation, CH forms an integral part of KGS strategy to innovate, build, scale and improve profitability.

Role Overview

The Senior Azure Integrations Support Engineer is accountable for the operational stability, reliability, and supportability of production Azure-based integrations. The role focuses on Level 2/3 operational support, proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of integration services across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Monitoring

Monitor and support Azure Integration Services, including:

  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure API Management
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Event Grid and Event-driven integrations

Support synchronous, asynchronous, publishsubscribe, and file-based integration patterns

Proactively identify and remediate integration failures before customer impact

Incident, Problem & Change Management

  • Investigate and resolve:
  • Logic Apps run failures
  • API errors and timeouts
  • Service Bus dead-letter messages
  • Event Grid delivery failures
  • Handle Level 2/3 incidents, service requests, and changes in line with ITIL practices
  • Perform runbook-driven troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions
  • Manage retries, replays, data corrections, and recovery of failed transactions
  • Provides 24x7 Level 2 support via rotational shifts or on-call coverage
  • Acts as a technical escalation point, engaging Level 3 teams when required
  • Supports production releases, patching, and planned maintenance windows
  • Participates in major incident management bridges as required

Release & Service Assurance

  • Review and support integration changes and releases into production
  • Validate operational readiness, monitoring, and rollback procedures
  • Ensure integrations meet SLA, availability, and performance targets

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with application, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to resolve cross-system issues
  • Maintain and update:
  • Integration documentation
  • Data flow and sequence diagrams
  • Interface catalogues and operational runbooks
  • Provide operational insights and recommendations to improve integration reliability and resilience

Qualifications

Experience Band

58 years of experience supporting Azure integration or middleware platforms in a production environment.

Technical Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services

Solid understanding of:

  • API-based integrations (REST, HTTP)
  • Event-driven architectures
  • File-based integrations (SFTP, batch processing)
  • Proven experience supporting production incidents and outages
  • Working knowledge of SLA-based operational support models
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and log analysis tools in Azure

Desirable

  • AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or AZ-204 (Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure) certification
  • Experience with ITIL-based service management processes
  • Exposure to automation, self-healing, or reliability improvements in integration platforms
