Position Overview:

The Senior Engineer, AI is a key individual contributor within Ensemble's Analytics and AI organization. This role is responsible for translating complex business and operational challenges into scalable analytical, AI, and automation solutions.

The Senior Associate partners closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders to design, build, and deploy analytics and AI models that enhance decisionmaking, reduce friction across revenue cycle workflows, and enable measurable operational outcomes. The role operates with a high degree of ownership, contributing independently while aligning with architectural patterns and quality standards defined by Leads and Managers.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy analytics and AI solutions aligned with business priorities
• Perform advanced data analysis to generate actionable insights and recommendations
• Build and maintain productionready models and analytical pipelines
• Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure solution relevance and impact
• Apply best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, and performance
• Support continuous improvement of analytics frameworks and standards
• Mentor junior team members through informal guidance and reviews

This role may require additional responsibilities aligned to business priorities.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for analytics and modeling
• Handson experience with AI/ML concepts, predictive modeling, and feature engineering
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
• Exposure to Databricks, data lakes, and largescale datasets
• Familiarity with automation tools and modern analytics workflows
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and governance practices
• Strong problemsolving and analytical thinking
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfort operating in a fastpaced, ambiguous environment

Experience & Education

• 6–9 years of experience in analytics, data science, or applied AI roles
• Experience delivering analytics or AI solutions in production environments
• Background in healthcare, RCM, or regulated industries is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent field

Senior Engineer, AI will contribute to highpriority initiatives including:

• Ownership of analytics and AI solutions aimed at reducing revenue cycle friction and improving operational efficiency; includes model development, pipeline execution, and milestone delivery.
• Advanced Analytics & AI/ML Development
• Design, build, test, and enhance predictive models, scoring frameworks, and analytical features supporting production workloads.
• Agentic AI & Automation Enablement
• Contribution to the design and implementation of analytical logic within autonomous and semiautonomous AI agents under Lead direction.
• Emerging Technology Adoption
• Evaluation and applied use of Microsoft Copilot, MCP, Power Automate, and Azure AI services to enhance analytics productivity and embed intelligence into workflows.
• Code Quality & Analytics Standards Uplift
• Active participation in elevating engineering and analytics standards through clean code, structured peer reviews, and application of technical feedback.
