Role: Senior Embedded Security Engineer

Experience Level:Staff (8 - 14 Years)

Must have skills - SOC Security and Embedded C

This role owns system-level security execution for Qualcomm's Smart Audio & Wearable SoCs, spanning:

• HW security + low-level firmware + OS/kernel-level software
• Strong involvement from early product planning → silicon bring-up → production

It's a hands-on technical security role, not GRC / policy.

Core Responsibilities (What the person will actually do)

• Design & implement embedded security software on SoCs
• Work close to hardware, firmware, RTOS, Linux, and proprietary OS layers
• Define SoC security architecture with Product Management & OEMs
• Drive security requirements across HW + SW teams
• Debug low-level, hard-to-reproduce security issues
• Own device security lifecycle: boot → provisioning → runtime → debug control
