Role Description As a Senior Embedded Manager at BigEndian Semiconductors, you will lead embedded software teams responsible for architecting, developing, and integrating firmware and low-level software for security-focused SoCs. In this full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, you will define technical roadmaps, review designs and code, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of embedded software components. You will collaborate closely with VLSI, hardware, system architecture, and security teams to bring silicon platforms from concept to production, driving board bring-up, driver development, and system validation. You will also establish engineering best practices, mentor team members, manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to hiring and developing embedded talent. The role involves hands-on problem solving in areas such as performance optimization, reliability, and secure software design.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 year experience in embedded software development.
- Strong expertise in embedded software development, including embedded linux l programming, and low-level firmware for SoCs.
- experience vision domain.
- Background in system architecture for embedded platforms, including bootloaders, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Experience leading and managing embedded engineering teams, including mentoring, code reviews, and project planning.
- Familiarity with security-by-design principles, secure boot, cryptographic primitives, and threat-aware embedded software practices.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes), version control systems, and CI/CD for embedded environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced startup environments
