About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Electronics Engineer – Firmware to join our high-performance aerospace engineering team in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will design and develop embedded firmware for mission-critical microcontroller-based systems powering next-generation satellite technologies. You will work at the intersection of embedded systems, hardware design, and space-grade engineering, contributing directly to scalable satellite production and cutting-edge aerospace innovation. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware in C for microcontroller-based systems
  • Translate schematics and system requirements into efficient, reliable firmware implementations
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and test engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Perform low-level debugging and validation using tools like oscilloscopes, DSOs, and logic analyzers
  • Develop and maintain firmware documentation, including design specs, test plans, and validation reports
  • Implement and manage firmware version control and configuration management
  • Optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and resource constraints in embedded environments
  • Support system bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting for production and prototyping stages

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Physics, or related field
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development
  • Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming
  • Solid understanding of digital and analog electronics fundamentals
  • Experience working with Arm Cortex 32-bit microcontrollers
  • Expertise in debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
  • Strong knowledge of embedded communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, RS232/RS485, USB
  • Experience with ADC/DAC interfacing and firmware integration
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and hardware documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with MISRA C standards for safety-critical systems
  • Experience with bare-metal/low-level firmware development
  • Hands-on experience with Microchip SAM V71 microcontrollers and MPLAB IDE
  • Exposure to aerospace, defense, or high-reliability embedded systems
