Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Modeller - MEP to join our engineering team in Jamshedpur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Revit MEP (Electrical) with a focus on cable tray design, cable routing, junction box (JB) layout, and electrical equipment modelling. Proficiency in Navisworks for clash detection and AutoCAD for drafting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

.Develop accurate 3D electrical MEP models using Revit, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.

.Model cable trays, cable routing, junction boxes, and electrical equipment layout for buildings and infrastructure.

.Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams for effective MEP integration.

.Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage.

.Review and interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, and technical drawings.

.Generate detailed electrical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

.Support project teams in BIM coordination meetings and model reviews.

.Ensure compliance with company and client-specific BIM standards and protocols.

.Collaborate with design engineers to update models as per design changes.

Requirements:

.Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

.Minimum 6 years of experience as an Electrical Modeller in MEP/BIM projects.

.Expert in Revit (Electrical discipline) with hands-on experience in large-scale MEP projects.

.Strong knowledge of:
- Cable tray routing & supports
- Cable management and JB placement
- Electrical room layouts
- Electrical equipment modelling

.Proficient in Navisworks (clash detection and coordination workflows).

.Skilled in AutoCAD for 2D electrical drafting.

.Good understanding of MEP coordination, BIM workflows, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, IS codes).

.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

.Experience in industrial or infrastructure MEP projects.

.Familiarity with BIM 360 or other common data environments (CDEs).

.Basic understanding of electrical load calculations or design principles (not mandatory).
