The Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Perform hands-on analytical evaluations to assess system performance, diagnose technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, and NEMA, embedding safety, reliability, and cybersecurity
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardization, digitization, engineering quality, lessons learned, and operational excellence.
- Provide clear communication and leadership in technical reviews, project meetings, stakeholder interactions, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- The Senior Electrical Engineer will be having 15-20 years of experience in design & engineering of Oil & Gas, petrochemical, chemical and new energy projects.
- Deep expertise in electrical engineering, including HV/LV system design, equipment sizing, protection & control philosophies, grounding/earthing, lightning protection, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash studies.
- Experience developing technical specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), GA/layouts, cable routing plans, vendor evaluations, and engineering documents for PDCs, switchgears, transformers, MCCs, UPS, drives, and related systems.
