Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design Leadership:

• Lead electrical services design for small to medium-scale projects.
• Develop design philosophies from feasibility to detailed design stages.
• Ensure alignment with corporate, technical, and client standards.

Project Coordination & Collaboration:

• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and project managers.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams for integrated design solutions.
• Participate in client and project meetings with technical presentations.

Design Documentation & QA/QC:

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of electrical design documentation.
• Follow QA/QC processes and ensure multidisciplinary coordination.
• Prepare technical design notes and reports.

Technical Expertise & Engineering Analysis:

• Perform electrical calculations and technical analysis (manual & software-based).
• Handle HV/LV power distribution, lighting systems, ELV systems, and fire life safety systems.
• Apply knowledge of buildability and construction techniques.

Standards & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with international codes such as BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA.
• Integrate Health & Safety standards into all design work.

Mentoring & Leadership:

• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Support knowledge sharing within the electrical design team.

Business & Client Support:

• Support RFPs, prequalification documents, and client technical queries.
• Contribute to commercial and project management understanding.
