Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Design Leadership:
- Lead electrical services design for small to medium-scale projects.
- Develop design philosophies from feasibility to detailed design stages.
- Ensure alignment with corporate, technical, and client standards.
Project Coordination & Collaboration:
- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and project managers.
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams for integrated design solutions.
- Participate in client and project meetings with technical presentations.
Design Documentation & QA/QC:
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of electrical design documentation.
- Follow QA/QC processes and ensure multidisciplinary coordination.
- Prepare technical design notes and reports.
Technical Expertise & Engineering Analysis:
- Perform electrical calculations and technical analysis (manual & software-based).
- Handle HV/LV power distribution, lighting systems, ELV systems, and fire life safety systems.
- Apply knowledge of buildability and construction techniques.
Standards & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with international codes such as BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA.
- Integrate Health & Safety standards into all design work.
Mentoring & Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Support knowledge sharing within the electrical design team.
Business & Client Support:
- Support RFPs, prequalification documents, and client technical queries.
- Contribute to commercial and project management understanding.
