Lead the design and integration of electrical systems in buildings, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and communication networks.
Develop comprehensive electrical plans and specifications that align with architectural designs andElectricalconstraints.
Perform load calculations, short-circuit analyses, and voltage drop calculations to ensure reliable and efficient electrical system performance.
Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools like Revit to create detailed 3D models of electrical systems within the building structure
Coordinate with architects,Electricalengineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building components.
Prepare and review electrical design documents, including detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Ensure that all electrical systems comply with local building codes, industry standards and safety regulations
Conduct thorough quality checks on design outputs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and functionality.
Requirements
ElectricalEngineering BSc. degree from an internationally recognized University.
8-10years experience as an Engineer in a multi-disciplinary Team
A specific discipline strength and/or speciality would be advantageous.
An understanding of all MEP and building services design processes.
The ability to think laterally and possess a sound understanding of engineering principles with the ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
The ability to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally.
Experience on design and build project would be advantageous.
Experience of working with Contractors
Previous experience in a position within a multi-disciplinary design team
Commercial awareness with an understanding of Change Control.
Computer literate with all standard project design and development software including Microsoft,Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech & Dialux.
Strong communication skills will be required to interact with multiple internal and external Teams and project stakeholders.
