Who We're Looking For
- Engineers with plant operations/maintenance exposure in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Cement, or other core industrial sectors
- Strong background in Electrical Design and Safety Management Systems
- Working knowledge of chemical and process risk
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Tier 1/Tier 2 institutes
What You'll Do
- Deliver knowledge-based consulting to leading manufacturing corporates on Engineering Risk Management
- Lead and mentor a team of 5–8 electrical engineers
- Review electrical design plans and work schedules
- Perform equipment sizing calculations (transformers, cables, switchgear selection)
- Apply expertise in earthing systems, lighting systems, and lightning protection
- Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Lead electrical safety audits and safety training programs
- Working knowledge of Hazardous Area Classification (a plus, not mandatory)
- Stay current with CEA Regulations, BIS, NFPA, IEC, and IEEE standards
- Liaise with clients and engineering teams to ensure projects meet specifications
- Build and grow relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and industry professionals
- Continuously improve engineering processes and drive initiatives through cross-functional meetings
- Research global best practices in engineering and risk management
What You Bring
- Hands-on plant and electrical fieldwork experience
- Fluency in English
- 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering across industries and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of CEA, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, and IS standards (NFPA knowledge is a plus)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, and ETAP
- Excellent client-handling skills, with the ability to support marketing teams on technical matters
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Additional certifications/licenses are a plus
