Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Leading global name in the power and transformer industry, is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Transformer.

Having multiple vacancies into Transformers/ Dry type transformers/ Power transformers with having CAD tools experience.

Job Requirements

• Part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Dry Transformer design covering different countries.
• Influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage, through conceptual discussions.
• Responsible to prepare electrical design Quotation meeting factory limitation, guideline and checklist as per IEEE / IEC /IS standards as per project schedule.
• Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing documents, Bill of materials etc. as per project schedule.
• Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
• Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
• Order Engineering experience is required. Deep understanding manufacturing of transformer is required.

Key Criteria:

• B.E / B. Tech Electrical Engineering.
• 9 to 12 years experience working in Electrical Design for Dry type Transformers manufacturing Industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
• Understanding of Transformer Electrical Design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics.
• Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC /IEEE Standards/ Canadian Standards.
• Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

Mandatory Requirement

• Must have hands-on experience in Transformer Electrical Design from a Transformer Manufacturing / Electrical Equipment Manufacturing company.
• Experience in Dry Type / Cast Resin / VPI Transformers will be highly preferred.
