Opportunity
You will be responsible for developing and editing Science content for K8, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and educational standards. Key responsibilities include creating product plans for digital and blended courses, conducting market research, and incorporating feedback from schools. You will manage the complete content development cycle from manuscript to final print and digital delivery, review and validate edits, and ensure quality and consistency. The role involves developing lesson plans, question banks, and digital content such as animations, games, and interactivities. You will also contribute to assessment frameworks, review audio scripts, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Additionally, you will mentor editors, collaborate with internal teams, and work with freelancers and vendors to achieve project goals.
Essential Criteria:
Postgraduate degree with 57 years of experience
Master in Science with experience in K8 EdTech or publishing industry preferred
Strong understanding of curriculum design and pedagogy
Familiarity with digital content development and editing processes
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in dynamic environments with an agile mindset
Desirable:
Teaching or teacher training experience
Experience in managing teams and mentoring editors
