We're profitably run and are backed by notable investors. K1 Capital led our most recent rou of $27 million. Before that, we raised from Kalaari Capital, Kae Capital, and Citrix Startup Accelerator.
Opportunity
Let's be honest: Customer service software is usually boring, bloated, and complicated. It treats people like ticket numbers and forces teams to learn complex systems just to send an email.
Hiver is different. We are the challenger in a market dominated by giants who forgot what human connection feels like.
We need a Senior Editor - Content who can take our challenger narrative and sharpen it into a lethal weapon. We need someone who is allergic to corporate jargon, hates the word utilize and believes that B2B software doesn't have to sound like a instruction manual for a toaster.
This isn't just a proofreading gig. You are the guardian of how Hiver sounds to the world. You will report directly to the Director, Content and Branding. Your job is to ensure that every piece of content - from high-level thought leadership to nitty-gritty blog posts - punches above its weight.
What You'll Do
- Edit blog posts, ebooks, whitepapers/reports, landing pages, and video scripts and any other content we end up creating. You aren't just fixing grammar; you are fixing flow, tone and logic.
- You will refine and police our Brand Style Guide. You define what Hiver sounds like (Witty Empathetic Bold) and ensure consistency across all channels.
- We have talented writers. Your job is to mentor them and help them become better writers and brand evangelists. Give feedback that inspires, not just corrects.
- Work with the Director to brainstorm angles that challenge the status quo. How do we talk about AI without sounding like everyone else How do we poke fun at the complexity of our competitors
Who You Are
- A storyteller who looks for the narrative arc in the most how-to articles.
- Someone who shudders when they see phrases like synergize, best-in-class, or paradigm shift. You prefer English that reads human, and has heart; even when it's an AI output.
- You understand SEO, but you refuse to sacrifice readability for keywords. You know how to balance the two.
- An aspiring leader! You might be a Senior Editor now, but you have the itch to manage. You want to build a culture of editorial excellence.
- Someone with at least 5+ years in content marketing, journalism, or editing (B2B SaaS experience is a huge plus, but only if you promise not to write like typical B2B SaaS).
- Bonus if you have agency experience or have worked with branding/PR teams and understand that the brand is a living machine that needs to be fed. Every. Single. Day.
Why Hiver
We are in a David vs. Goliath fight against massive, clunky competitors and we need your slingshot. In a world where bad customer support is the graveyard of brands, we are the lifeline. But you won't just be fighting the good fight; you'll be leading it. There is a crystal-clear path from Editor to Manager here. We don't just want you to fill the role - we want you to outgrow it.
