KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Solution Design & Development
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality customizations and extensions in D365 F&O using best-practice extension patterns.
- Enhance and optimize existing custom features to improve system performance and maintainability.
- Lead technical solutioning for new business requirements while minimizing upgrade impact.
- Create technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation.
Environment & Customization Management
- Maintain and support a customized D365 F&O environment with large codebases and complex dependencies.
- Optimize feature management, configurations, and code deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot issues acrossDEV, UAT, and Productionenvironments.
- Coordinate with Microsoft for escalated issues and platform-level troubleshooting.
- Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards and performance guidelines.
Integration & Ecosystem Development
- Architect, build, and support integrations using:
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Functions
- Data Management Framework (DMF)
- OData/REST services
- Custom APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design real-time and batch interfaces.
- Develop Power Platform solutions (Power Apps,Power Automate) to extend D365 capabilities.
Monitoring & Operational Excellence
- Implement and configureAzure Application Insightsfor runtime telemetry and diagnostic monitoring.
- Build monitoring dashboards and alerts for proactive issue identification.
- Analyze telemetry to detect bottlenecks and drive system performance improvements.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a senior technical advisor to functional consultants, architects, and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and lead structured knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and propose scalable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release coordination.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ yearsof hands-on experience inDynamics 365 Finance & Operationsdevelopment.
- Deep expertise inX++, D365extensibility framework, andoverlayering remediation.
- Proven experience working inhigh-customization enterprise environments.
- Strong functional understanding ofFinance & Supply Chain (FSCM)modules and data models.
- Hands-on experience with Azure technologies:
- Logic Apps
- Service Bus
- Key Vault
- Azure Functions
- Expertise in building and consumingOData servicesand custom service integrations.
- Strong experience withPower Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Experience deploying and interpretingAzure Application Insightstelemetry.
- Strong understanding ofCI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)for D365.
- Ability to read, refactor, and optimize legacy custom code.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Microsoft Certifications in D365 or Power Platform.
- Experience withDataverse, virtual entities, and data integration.
- Performance tuning expertise across D365 environments.
- Experience with testing frameworks such asRSAT,Executive Automats, or automated unit testing.
- Knowledge of data migration and cutover strategies.
