Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
Strong experience working as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance industry with a focus on Duck Creek Policy Administration System.
Hands on experience with LOB's like General Liability, Property, Workers Compensation, Inline Marine, Auto, Homeowners etc.
Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, underwriting processes, claims management, rating and regulatory compliance requirements
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including process mapping, data modeling, and requirements elicitation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CBAP, ACII) or COTS certifications are desirable but not required
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to Policy Administration System (PAS).
Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within the P&C industry.
Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, product development, and operations, to ensure that solutions meet business objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of new systems, processes, and tools to support PAS implementation.
