Main responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the role:

Designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the website's architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
Design and code service interfaces from Drupal to external systems.
Liaise with different stakeholders to perform technical analysis of new and existing systems & provide business focused solutions.
Assess community solutions & create custom Drupal modules when needed.
Training and mentoring junior team members in technologies, solutions and best practices.
Contribute to task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities.
Review and contribute to the performance tuning and code optimization.
Test, support and troubleshoot any issue of the existing intranet and internet sites.
Write and maintain SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.

Qualifications and Profile

This position requires a minimum 5 year's professional development experience as Drupal PHP Web application developer. The level of detail of the knowledge will be assessed considering the seniority of the candidate.

Functional

Fair knowledge of project development cycle methodology

Technical

Extensive experience in Drupal 8 and 9.
- Drupal Enterprise Experience
- Drupal Module Configuration
- Drupal architecture, APIs and custom module development
- Proven ability to design and architect the system by creating prototypes, and Proof of concepts
- Expertise in Drupal 9 Theme, from scratch or framework base (twig, javascript/jquery, bootstrap 4, css/scss/sass)
- Experience in integrating open source and third-party applications into existing sites
- Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
- Experience with MySQL tools and writing MySQL queries.
- Expertise in maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
- Drupal Best Practices, Caching methods and build Deploy.
A deep understanding of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 and JavaScript with a proven track record of building dynamic & responsive web sites in Drupal and PHP.
Thorough understanding of the web and web browsers, their capabilities, and limitations.
Experience in NodeJS, ReactJS, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS or other front-end frameworks
Nice to have

Knowledge on latest versions of MS SQL Server
Basic Linux operational commands
Experience in GIT, SSO, NPM, Composer, Drush, Drupal API
