Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled
.NET Core Web API Developer with experience in
Microsoft Azure to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building RESTful APIs using
.NET Core, integrating cloud services in
Azure, and working with modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful Web APIs using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
- Integrate applications with Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server database queries and stored procedures.
- Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
- Work with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with frontend teams and other stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core or ORM frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Knowledge of Docker / containerization is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Functions, Service Bus, or Event Grid.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Angular / React is an advantage.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit).
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Application Insights.
