Key Responsibilities:

Architect & Develop Core Microservices: Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure backend services using .NET (Core / 5+) and C#. Take ownership of critical components such as the 24x7 multi-asset settlement engine, custody integration with Fireblocks, or the multi-tenant PaaS infrastructure.

Build High-Performance APIs: Design and implement clean, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between internal services and for consumption by external fintech partners via our PaaS offering. Implement asynchronous communication patterns using message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka) to build a resilient, event-driven architecture.

Ensure SystemResilience & Scalability: Engineer services for high availability (99.99% uptime) and low latency, capable of processing retail-scale transaction volumes (>100k/hour). - Implement robust data models and interact efficiently with PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

Lead and Mentor: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mid-level and junior developers through code reviews, design sessions, and paired programming. Champion best practices in software development, including TDD/BDD, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

Drive System Integration & DevOps: Collaborate with other squads and external partners to integrate third-party APIs (e.g., Fireblocks, Temenos, Circle, KYC vendors) seamlessly and securely. Work within a DevOps culture, ensuring services are fully containerized (Docker), and instrumented for monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana) and deployment on Kubernetes.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have:

Professional Experience: 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on building and maintaining mission-critical backend systems.

.NET/C# Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of the .NET ecosystem (including .NET Core / .NET 5+) and the C# language.

Architectural Leadership: Proven experience designing and building complex, distributed systems and microservices architectures from the ground up.

Rapid Domain Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and navigate complex domains (e.g., finance, compliance, logistics) and apply technical expertise to solve novel business problems, even without direct prior experience in that industry.

API Development: Extensive experience in designing, building, and securing high-performance RESTful APIs.

Database Proficiency: Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including data modeling, query optimization, and experience with ORMs like Entity Framework Core.

Cloud & Containerization: Hands-on experience developing and deploying services on a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Docker.

Mentorship: A track record of mentoring other engineers and leading technical initiatives.

Nice-to-Have (Highly Desirable): Financial/Crypto Domain

Experience: Previous experience in FinTech, banking, payment processing, trading systems, or the cryptocurrency industry is a major asset.

Asynchronous Systems: Production experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. Kubernetes: Practical experience deploying and managing applications in a Kubernetes environment.

High-Performance Computing: Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems where performance is a critical feature.

Third-Party Financial API Integration: Specific experience integrating with custody providers (e.g., Fireblocks), payment gateways, or exchange APIs.
