Job Title: Senior Technical Solutions Engineer/Developer
Location: Remote/Hyderabad (While this role is remote, the client requires candidates to be based in Hyderabad)
Schedule: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST (India Standard Time)
Scope and responsibilities:
- The Senior Technical Solutions Engineer / Developer – FX & Reporting will serve as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation for FX, trading, and reporting initiatives.
- This consultant will lead solution design, oversee cross-system impact analysis, and provide hands-on support across .NET, SQL, and Power BI components.
- Requires reliable coverage during U.S. trading hours (6am - 3pm Pacific – USA time).
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with FX, trading, operations, and technology teams to translate business requirements into robust technical designs and system solutions.
- Analyze and document solution impacts across data flows, applications, and integrations (including OMS, FX platforms, and reporting tools).
- Oversee and support .NET development initiatives, ensuring technical consistency, scalability, and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Contribute to and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models as part of the firm's broader reporting architecture.
- Review and guide the work of other developers (onshore and offshore), providing direction on design patterns, code quality, and implementation approaches.
- Serve as a technical liaison for discussions around solution architecture, data design, FX/trading workflows, and reporting enhancements.
- Support production environments at a senior level, including triage of complex issues and coordination of fixes across systems.
Experience Required:
- 8–10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems analysis, or technical solution design.
- Strong expertise in .NET, T-SQL, and data integration patterns (APIs, file-based, messaging, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in solution architecture and cross-system impact assessment.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices).
- Experience in financial services, trading, or investment management systems strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions, drive consensus, and mentor other engineers.

Education:
