Senior Dotnet Developer

Job Summary:

• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET technologies with US Life Insurance/Annuities domain
• Design and implement front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular or React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment

Technical Skills

• Programming Languages - C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net,
• Web - Angular, Typescript, ASP.Net, HTML, XML, CSS, bootstrap, jQuery.
• Interface/ Services - Core API, Web API, Web Services (REST and SOAP)
• Framework - Angular, .Net Core, .Net Framework 3.5/4/4.5+
• Database Servers - SQL Server 2014/2016/2019, TSQL programming.
• Web Servers - IIS 6.0, 7.0, 7+
• Skills Nice to Have:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET and ASP.NET frameworks.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC architecture. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience with database technologies like SQL Server or MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Technologies, specifically .NET and ASP.NET.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Solid understanding of database management systems, particularly SQL Server.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
• Application development and Testing
• Assist with production support issues as they arise
• Help & Troubleshoot Application specific issues
• Understand the business requirements working with operations / functional teams
• Create/Produce project specific technical content (including but not limited to User Manuals/ Requirement/ Design/
• Test/ Operations Documents)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
