Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with a strong background in building event-driven architectures and serverless solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using AWS Lambda to optimize data processing and integrate with various cloud services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend services, migrating legacy systems to modern cloud architectures, and ensuring high performance and reliability in a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serverless Development: Design and implement serverless functions using AWS Lambda to support event-driven architectures.
- Event-Driven Integration: Use AWS SNS and SQS for effective messaging and queuing to streamline data processing.
- API Design: Architect and develop RESTful APIs using .NET Core and C# to support complex business workflows.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage cloud platforms like AWS and Azure (Functions, Blob Storage, Service Bus) to build scalable, high-throughput solutions.
- System Migration: Lead the migration of monolithic applications into modular microservices and modern API-driven architectures.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high code quality through automated testing using frameworks such as NUnit, Playwright, Karma, and Jasmine.
- DevOps & Automation: Manage CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps or similar tools to ensure reliable and frequent production releases.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a technical liaison between engineering teams and stakeholders, providing documentation and guidance on best practices.
Skills:
- Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in AWS (Lambda, SNS, SQS) and Azure (Functions, Cosmos DB).
- Core Stack: Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server.
- Front-End Integration: Experience with Angular (Advanced), TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Design Patterns: Mastery of Repository, CQRS, Factory, and Microservices architecture.
- Methodologies: Experience working in Agile, SAFe, and Scrum environments.
- AI Tooling: Proficiency in using daily GenAI/Agentic AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT for productivity.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or relevant Microsoft Azure certifications are highly preferred.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in architecting and delivering enterprise-grade web applications.
- Proven track record in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) or Capital Markets industry.
