Job Description – .NET Developer (Microservices & Azure)

Client: Top Automotive Product Company

Experience:Minimum 5+ Years

Work Mode:Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Microservices architecture to design and build scalable backend applications. The candidate will work on enterprise-level solutions, contributing to API development, system integration, and cloud-based deployments within Volvo's digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core
• Build and maintain microservices-based applications
• Develop clean, scalable backend logic using C# and .NET Core
• Implement unit testing and ensure high code quality
• Work on Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and optimize database interactions
• Write efficient queries using LINQ and SQL
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
• Deploy and manage applications in Azure cloud environment
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security

Required Skills & Experience

• ✅ 5+ years of experience in .NET development
• ✅ Strong hands-on experience with:
• C# and OOPS concepts
• ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
• REST API development
• Entity Framework Core (EF Core)
• LINQ and SQL
• ✅ Experience working with Microservices Architecture

✅ Strong understanding of:

• Data structures
• Design patterns
• Clean coding practices
• ✅ Hands-on experience with Unit Testing frameworks
• ✅ Experience working with Azure cloud services
• ✅ Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to event-driven architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
