Job Description:
The Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing business solutions to support Europe portfolio applications. The developer will work closely with the Business team to perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to new program development, configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation, or a combination of these options.
Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree
- Experience of 8-12 years in .NET software development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Microservices using .NET Core
- Experience in .NET Core, C#.NET, EF Core, React, UI/UX, WebAPI, AKS, DevOps, SonarCloud, Helm Chart, .NET Framework, JQuery, JSON
- Experience working in custom .NET applications
- Experience analyzing data and writing SQL queries in MS SQL/Oracle databases
- Strong in developing Custom .NET Framework / Code. Should be able to write API programs
- Develop and execute unit tests using the MOQ framework
- Good knowledge of application layers
- Hands-on experience with designing object-oriented components
- Understanding Azure cloud services including Azure Functions, Azure Infra, and Azure Services.
- Experience using Azure AD for authentication and authorization is a plus
- Participate in DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline setup (preferred)
- Good Knowledge of IIS, C#, and should be able to perform complex operations
- Excellent organization, communication, analysis, and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a calm demeanor
- Ready to learn new functionalities and gain credibility with Users
- Exposure to the Agile/Scrum way of working
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus
Job responsibilities:
- Supporting IT business partners with design, development, and solution management
- Work with the Tech Lead to analyze, recommend, plan, design, develop, and/or implement solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance and reliability, control, and security requirements
- Act as liaison between Manufacturing Business Stakeholders and technical Lead/developers to effectively communicate business requirements into high-quality business solutions
- Team with EU Manufacturing stakeholders to encourage business-process improvements, to identify data integrity issues, and to implement proactive solutions
- Create and deliver user documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts
- Analyze database constructs and create database design specifications associated with new development or enhancements
- Create functional code from design specifications for new development, enhancements, or maintenance projects
- Develop test plans; prepare test data, test, and document results for unit, integration, and QA testing
- Support existing applications following documented procedures for change control and issue tracking
- Provide consistent support as needed including, but not limited to, participating in the oncall rotation
- Support Business processes and functions related to Manufacturing applications
- Assist the Manager in status reporting. Escalate issues affecting scope, budget, and timelines
